For 20 years, Minerva BC has worked with emerging and established female leaders to prepare them for roles in business, government and community. Despite our efforts, women continue to be underrepresented at all levels of leadership in B.C.

We launched the Face of Leadership™ initiative to accelerate the pace of change. Aimed at closing the gender gap, this initiative started a conversation with CEOs about what’s working and how to lift the percentage of women leaders in leadership.

We help break down implicit and institutional biases and replace them with attitudes and systems that are supportive to women’s achievement. Our work focuses on three key areas:

The Face of Leadership™ Score Card and measures the representation of women in senior leadership, and on the boards of B.C.’s top companies. This annual report provides a benchmark for progress, and helps us identify what’s working in different industries and sectors.

Research by McKinsey & Company shows that the most successful companies lead gender diversity initiatives from the top. The Face of Leadership™ Diversity Pledge strengthens the commitment of CEOs and top-level leaders to take action to advance women in the workplace.

We develop exceptional leaders. Our signature program, Women Leading the Way™ supports the advancement of female leaders across all industries and sectors. Our Inclusive Leadership program provides leaders of all genders to develop an inclusive mindset and approach.
